Join The Family Tree and take a Stand for Maryland's Children. The goal of this effort is to raise awareness and dialogue about child abuse prevention in Maryland. Too many children are exposed to intensive stress like child abuse and neglect. Child abuse and neglect can be devastating to child development; prevention is so critical.

Communities across our state are recognizing that healthy childhood experiences are not just good for children, but good for their neighborhoods as well. Let’s build on this momentum and create a movement that demonstrates the role we each play in building strong families. The time is now.

Working together with local communities is the best way to mobilize citizens to spread the “prevention” word. You don’t have to be a parent to get involved. There are a lot of ways to involve your school, company, community and neighborhood in this effort. It is your turn to make a difference!
